FAQs

Please read our FAQs page for more general help.

Does the TX2 support tilt compensation?

No, the TX2 does not contain an internal IMU for tilt compensation. We wanted to make the TX2 as simple, rugged and economical as possible. If tilt compensation is important for your GIS needs, please consider one of the models of the Facet FP that supports tilt compensation.

Why won’t my SparkPNT TX2 achieve an RTK fix when connected to NTRIP?

Verify that your correction source is using an MSM4, MSM5, MSM6, or MSM7 RTCM stream. The LG290P inside the TX2 requires MSM-format corrections and may not work properly with older RTCM message types.

When in doubt, performing a factory reset may clear problematic settings.
