What is L-Band and Why Do We Use It?
The L-band is the frequency window of the microwave and radio spectrum that is used by Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Chosen for its ability to penetrate through the atmosphere, the L-band is divided into many sub-bands that can be tuned into by different PNT devices, and is also used to send correction data via satellite.
